Our wedding day was at Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana on June 11, 2007. We had an amazing day! Everything was well organized and we did not have to worry about anything. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and were married 2 days later on the Monday. We didn't really know what to expect, but as soon as we arrived the wedding co-ordinator took very good care of us. It was the most stress free planning I ever had to do! The best part was we were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation with 30 of our closest family and friends.
I highly recommend destination weddings to all my friends getting married and Domincan is certainly one of the places I advise them to go.

We were married April 5th, 2007 at Ocean Sands Golf and Beach resort in Punta Cana.
We meet with the wedding coordinator and photographer before the wedding to arrange all the details. We had beautiful flowers, a Caribbean trio, champaigne, cake, and an excellent dinner. It all came together better than we could have imagined!!
Thirty five family and friends came with us for the week. Everyone had a great time and are planning another group vacation for January.

We got married in the beach at the beautiful Riu Bachata Resort in Puerto Plata. Our wedding was perfect…it was better than we ever dreamed of. Nerys was our wedding coordinator, she was great, we met with her for about an hour to go over the final details and the only other thing we had to do was show up. Nerys handled everything and everything went as planned. We opted for the musical trio instead of a CD, it really added a special touch to our ceremony. We danced our first dance “It your Love” and then the trio played La Bamba and all our friends and family danced. It was so much fun, everyone had a wonderful time. To get married away was the best decision we've ever made. All we can say is that we picked the most perfect spot in the Dominican Republic. We tied the knot in the Gazebo at the Riu Bambu resort in the beautiful Punca Cana. It was a great pleasure to meet with Magnolia (Riu resorts/' wedding coordinator). We had a half-hour meeting with her to work out the details and then went back to the beach. She did an excellent job organizing our wedding day.
Michael, the photographer, did a phenomenal job. We got the 24 pictures that came with the wedding package, but they were all so beautiful that we had to purchase the whole CD with about 150 photographs. And we can't forget all the work that Martha put into our wedding day here at the Dominica Republic Services.
Thank you for taking care of our legal papers before and after the wedding. Everything was perfect! We have lots of great memories of our wedding day and we can't wait to go back to celebrate our 1-year anniversary.
